Location of the place
Warsaw is located in central part of Poland, it is approximately 700 kilometers from Prague.
City
Warsaw is the capital and largest city of Poland. Its population is estimated at 1.7 million people. Also there lives a lot of tourists. Warsaw is modern city with historic city center.
Surroundings (possible trips, ...)
In the Warsaw is a lot of places to visit (parks, beach near Vistula, museums, ...) and also near to Warsaw are some national parks. Also you can vist other cities like Gdansk and Torun (approximately 3 hour by express train) ... I can recomend you both of them :)

I worked in company DACPOL in department of sales and marketing. And almost all my colleagues were english speaking.
Work description
Because company needs a documents in Czech language, I made a translation from English to Czech. It was datasheet for components, catalogues, web pages, brochures ... Also I was finding czech companies for cooperation.
Salary (sufficient for local conditions?)
Prices in Poland are really similar to prices in Czech republic. My salary was 400 EUR per month (10500 CZK) and also my company paid for me hotel with breakfasts and lunches. I used all my salary for traveling and events.
Language requirements
The first week I learnt some new words in field of electronic components, but generally I did not have a problem with language. Sometimes is necessary use Polish-Czech language because someone can't speak english.
Accommodation (price, who provided it)
Company paid for me a hotel, only few meter from my working place. In the hotel I had single bedroom with wifi, television,air conditioner, electricity and own bathroom.
Social life
Meeting IAESTE members (pick-up at the airport, organized events...)
Polish members of IAESTE are really nice and helpful. One girl picked me up my first day at the train station and showed me accomodation. Next day one guy from IAESTE showed me company. Almost every day we had event with IAESTE members.
Meeting other foreign students
In Warsaw was many trainees from other countries, but my hotel was 40 minutes from dormitory with other trainees. But it isn't a problem, I saw other trainees almost every day, because we had events and trips to other cities.
Sport and culture
In the Warsaw is a lot of places for sport and also theatres, music halls etc
Food, local specialties
Polish cuisine is similar Czech cuisine, but in Polish cuisine is much more vegetables. Most famous Polish dish is pierogi.

Possibilites to communicate with the Czech Republic
Communication with Czech republic totally without problem via skype or phone.
Recommendations for students who will go to the same place
Is good to know some important words in Polish language because someone can't speak English
