Employer
Employer
Design Station. Medium company with friendly co-workers and boss. Sometimes repetetive work but not bad working environment.
Work description
3D modelling of apartment projects. Creating from scratch design for a big project (something like their traditional spa/health centre).
Salary (sufficient for local conditions?)
Nope...... It would have to be at least 3 times higher (it was 15000 Nepal rupees).
Language requirements
English was enough but their level of English is not that high.
Accommodation (price, who provided it)
We were accommodated by one IAESTE member the cost was 8000 rupees.
Social life
Meeting IAESTE members (pick-up at the airport, organized events...)
We met other IAESTE members the day before we left. Pick-up and transfer to the airport were ok. The IAESTE member who accommodated us really tried to help us organize events and trips.
Meeting other foreign students
We were living with 5 other interns.
Sport and culture
The culture was amazing but really different and you need to get used to it.
Food, local specialties
Yep, prepare for a lot of rice and a lot of spicy food.... and sometimes your stomach will probably get upset.
Best food: Butter Paneer and Jhol Momo

Other information
Possibilites to communicate with the Czech Republic
It is possible to use mail, WhatsApp messenger or mobile.
Recommendations for students who will go to the same place
Prepare for a slight cultural shock and do at least some reading about Nepal and their culture and customs (and bathrooms and food). Do all necessary vaccinations (one which is quite recommended is Rabies... there are lots of dogs in Nepal).
What not to forget with you
Umbrella, magnesium tablets (you will be sweating a lot).
Benefits of the internship
You will get to know an amazing new culture. In my case, professional benefits are not that much.
Cooperation with IAESTE in the foreign country
It was quite difficult and we had some struggles with that.
Overall experience with IAESTE
Amazing..... IAESTE for life.
