There is plenty to discover in Vienna. Endless beautiful streets and cute Wiener Cafes. If you get bored with the city life. There are wine yards on the outside of the City or you can get into the mountains within an hour by train.

Meeting IAESTE members (pick-up at the airport, organized events...)

IAESTE organized a few events such as international dinners, pub quiz, various trips outside the ciy

I met other foreign students through a whatsapp group

There is a gym on every corner and music events happen often too.

You can find local wiener cuisine with famous schnitzel and also every foreign cuisine

Recommendations for students who will go to the same place

Enjoy and rent a bike! Its safe to park here and you will always be faster than public transport and cars! There is such a good infrastructure for bikes.

Benefits of the internship

The workplace is very laidback with friendly and helpful collegues. I never felt stressed and did not worry about asking a question. Also if you work efficiently, you can finish earlier than after 8 hours. You will get very familiar with laboratory work, practice some basic analysis and get the feel of a yeast production.
