Salary (sufficient for local conditions?)
The salary was 850 PLN (200 euro) per month, which is sufficient for the basic thing (of course not for traveling or so :) )
Language requirements
English was enough for work, but it will be useful tu learn some Polish words (for me it was quite easy to understand Polish, because I can speak Czech and Russian :) )
Accommodation (price, who provided it)
The University provided the accomodation in the dormitory Tygry. The accomodation was ok, nothing really special, but ok. There is two people in the room, the bathrooms are two on the floor.
Social life
Meeting IAESTE members (pick-up at the airport, organized events...)
Everything was great!
Meeting other foreign students
There were 3 IAESTE Committees in Lodz, so in total there were more than 60 interns from all over the world! There was lots of meetings with them, also I have met lots of new people in Warsaw. I did not spent a lot of time with others (but just because I am not kind of "party girl" :) ), but everyone was nice :)
Sport and culture
Sport: There are lots of gyms in the city, I went to the FitFabric. It was a bit expensive for Poland, but the gym was very nice. There are also some spaces for the workout in the city (on the streets).
Culture: There is some muzeums and cinemas in the city. And also it is good to visit Manufaktura
