Okolí místa praxe: Istanbul has so much to offer that I didn’t feel much need to travel elsewhere. After spending two months here, I still feel like I haven’t explored everything. Místní kuchyně: I have tried a lot of japanese food in general but also some local dishes from the northeastern region of Japan. Namely, I have tried the grilled eel (which was very good!) and zunda = green bean paste which was also delicious. I was surprised by the lack of fresh fruits and vegetables in their day to day life but it makes sense because they are really expensive.

Sport a kultura: In Jena, I enjoyed hiking in the surrounding hills, which was a great way to stay active and take in the views.
