Místní kuchyně: I drank Karak all the time. It is a black tea with sugar and spices, mostly cardamom. There are a lot of karak places around the accommodation and they are opened until 3 am so whenever we wanted we just went outside to get karak, walk a little and just enjoyed the life. You have to try Kunafah, its a sweet dessert with cheese, its delicious. We really liked Old Town Falafel restaurant with ...

Sport a kultura: Brazilian culture is very rich, but apart from sightseeing and art galleries, I didn’t really get a chance to experience anything significant. On the other hand, I lived next to a football field, and football is a big deal there. There was even a cross-campus competition in which my supervisor participated (and his team won!).
