Rakousko, Vienna
Okolí místa praxe: A big advantage is the possibility to travel by train in Austria. Every weekend you could think of a trip to the lake or hiking in the mountains. It is definitely worth visiting Salzburg and Innsbruck, which is therefore better for a longer period. As for the mountains, I looked at the Stubai glacier and the Schneeberg peak.

O firmě: I worked at the Research Institute of Medical and Health Sciences (RIMHS) at the University of Sharjah. My laboratory was Immuno-oncology. In the lab, there were some PhD. Students, research assistants, and a lot of master's students working on their thesis. At RIMHS, there is a wide variety of laboratories, and also some of my intern friends worked there.

Náplň práce: I was programming tasks that I have got from my supervisor. It was working on a webapp, Half of my internship I worked on a transaction ledger for example. It was what it was told on the O-form backend and frontend work.

Japonsko, Fujimino, Saitama
Místní kuchyně: Japanese food is simply great. I enjoyed fish and seafood (especially raw one). I tried many types of meat that I have never tried before and usually I did not know what I am eating but in 99 % it was very good. Definitely try sushi, sashimi, gyudon, ramen, udon, suba, tempura, takoyaki and definitely matcha ice cream. But do not worry if you are vegetarian, you have to be more picky but there are ...
Tunisko, Tunis
Sport a kultura: As for sports, we sometimes played team games such as padel. You can also go swimming at the beach every day, and some interns went running around La Goulette. Tunisia has a huge number of museums, so culturally you will definitely not get bored. In La Goulette there were also occasional free street concerts, which created a very nice atmosphere.
