Okolí místa praxe: I would reccommend a trip to desert for sure. Khor Fakkan is a nice town with beautiful surrounding areas and many hiking trails. Fujairah is a smaller town with very nice beaches. We went to Abu Dhabi for a weekend. Since Dubai is very close we used to spend a lot of time there. Some interns also went on a trip to Oman.

Přínos praxe: I learned a lot, japan is nice place to visit. In summer you get Obon holidays, its just crowded everywhere.

Místní kuchyně: IAESTE students cooked for us Käsespätzle which I really enjoyed. I also enjoyed some of the "wurstels" and schinckenschpecks.

Sport a kultura: It is a great city for running since it is mostly flat and I also enjoy going to the gym, so I joined one near university for the two months.
