Náplň práce: I was working with postgraduate students on developing new active molecules for drugs against Chagas disease.
I mostly did organic synthesis and all the related tasks (e.g., weighing compounds, filtration, extraction, distillation, etc.), but we also tested our molecules and their toxicity (TLC, HPLC, HET-CAM assay).

Přínos praxe: I learned a lot, japan is nice place to visit. In summer you get Obon holidays, its just crowded everywhere.

Místní kuchyně: Beef stew, FRIES everywhere, Belgium chocolate, waffles lot of food option everywhere we also had a restarant in the office. Local drinks and a lot of types of beers. This is a beer country.
Meal in restaurant about 17-20 euros, fastfoods could be 10E, depends on what you want, kebabs for 8E.
Fries for 2-3 euros, waffles about 4euros

Sport a kultura: The employer offers multiple sport classes during the work days and on the weekend there is always possibility to do either hiking or skiing. For culture, Baden, Basel and Zurich offer many events.
