Místní kuchyně: I tried a few traditional Croatian dishes, but I did not have many opportunities to explore the local food culture in depth. I did not make any Croatian friends during my stay. The only locals I interacted properly with were the IAESTE members and my supervisors, but they seemed quite busy and did not have much time to socialize outside of work.

Sport a kultura: To be honest, doing sports was almost impossible. I tried, but the humidity was so high, and the temperature never seemed to drop even at night. Running felt more like a sauna session than exercise, but I did it anyway. Luckily, the sea was just a short walk away, so we went swimming all the time.
