Okolí místa praxe: I would recommend visiting beaches in Udupi. It is closeby and it is worth it even in rainy seasons. Also you can visit Manipal lake for a nice stroll. I recommend asking at MIT edu building for a pamphlet that will give you all the tips where to go. I heared End point is very nice but unfortunately it is closed during the monsunes, so I was unable to go.

Náplň práce: My o-form had only one sentence in it so I did not have any expectations about my work there. I was working under a PhD. student and helped her with her research for two months. We maily did RNA extractions and subsequent measurements. I also had an opportunity to try some data analysis.

Místní kuchyně: The Indian kitchen was a big change for me. The food is very tasty and full of spices, but the main difference for me was that almost everything is spicy. Even meals that look simple usually have chili or strong spices inside. It was interesting to try, but sometimes it was difficult to get used to the spiciness.

Sport a kultura: On the main campus, you can find a women's sports complex for free. There is a fully equipped gym as well as a 25m indoor swimming pool, so enjoy that! For culture, you can go to Sharjah Museum of Islamic Civilization or House of Wisdom.
