The city is small compare to other cities but the atmosphere , natural beauty, good people, available shops creates homely feelings. The location was perfect for summer time.

The name of the city is Gent. I have visited more cities in Belgium other than Gent as it was convenient and easier to go. Each city has its own beauty .Surprisingly travelling from here is much easier and cost effective as desirable destinations like Paris, Netherlands are so nearby. The city it self a beauty with boat riding adventure, Citadel, Church, historical palace etc. I found the the regular boat trip more exciting and of course the fries. The locals amazed me by their cordial behavior and the houses were also pretty to live.

I visited 4 more cities in Belgium, they are Dinant, Brussels, Antwerp and Bruges. From here, you can easily travel to the Netherlands or France with a very minimal fare. I would recommend Namur is also pretty city to visit.

The company named HydroHM was quiet interesting. The topic was completely new for me but they show there patience and kind attitude towards me and explain each details of the experiment. It may feel pressure but I worked in a lab 90% of time and it make me confident enough to pursue my career in R&D sector in future. The corporate decency was mesmerizing. Everyone sat together during lunch and talk that was the best part. The environment was very friendly and the payment was also on time never delayed. They paid me monthly that was very helpful for me. I gain a lot experience on lab work which is why I would highly recommend this company to others.

Yes it was same as written on O form. I mostly work in the lab, collecting samples and creating enough data, then processing the data. Each day I conducted 2 or 3 experiments together so I was occupied the whole time. it make me confident on lab work also realizing where I should continue to work for future. As a completely new topic I would like to say the internship was worth it.

I haven't notice any sports activity rather than kayaking. And the culture was pretty normal for me. Cycling is very common and convenient to all.

Yes, it's in Europe, so all the communication was the same as in the Czech Republic.

Try to avoid Swapfiets to rent cycle. Try other locals to get it very cheaply.
