The salary was sufficient for day to day expenses, any trips had to be paid out of pocket.
Language requirements
English was generaly enough, but some basic Japanese was required.

The accomodation was provided by the company.
Social life
Meeting IAESTE members (pick-up at the airport, organized events...)
The IAESTE Japan members helped me get to the company from Tokyo.
Meeting other foreign students
As I lived quite far from other IAESTE trainees I did not get to meet the other IAESTE trainees.
Sport and culture
The culture shock was not as bad as I thought.
Food, local specialties
Japanese food was one of the best aspects of my internship.
