Dear IAESTE trainee,

A Czech company for a traineeship has accepted you and we would like to take this opportunity of welcoming you to the programme. We hope, your stay in the Czech republic (CR) will be interesting, worthwhile and useful, and that you will look upon your IAESTE traineeship not only as a summer job but as a unique opportunity to explore our country, way of life, and culture. To more easily facilitate this aim, we invite you to participate in a summer programme jointly organised by our reception service and your employer. It may will be your first trip to CR and we anticipate that you will find our country different from your own country. To help to your adjustment to life in our country, we have provided some basic information about the country and its way of life. We encourage you to read it carefully in the hope that it will help you to avoid potential problems and benefit you in making a smooth transition to the life in CR.
