IAESTE_2007

IAESTE (The International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience) is an independent, non-profit and non-political student exchange Organisation. It provides students of science, engineering, technology and the applied arts with paid, course-related, technical training abroad.

Since it was founded in 1948, IAESTE has exchanged more than 330 000 students and has developed into a vibrant and inspirational network of over 80 countries. IAESTE aims to operate a high quality practical training exchange programme in order to enhance technical and professional development and to promote international understanding and goodwill amongst Students, Academic Institutions, Employers and the wider community.

 

IAESTE Czech Republic offers an array of exchange programs for technical students looking to intern outside the Czech Republic and companies looking for international technical trainees.

 

IAESTE International (The International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience) exchanges students from more than 80 countries for practical training relevant to their studies.

IAESTE was founded 1948 and the Czech Republic (Czechoslovakia) was one of the founding members. IAESTE Czech Republic has at the moment eight local committees who arrange a variety of social and cultural activities throughout the year.

The Aims of IAESTE:

  • To provide students at institutions of higher education with technical experience abroad relative to their studies in the broadest sense.
  • To promote international understanding and goodwill amongst the students of all nations irrespective of race, color, sex or creed.
  • To operate an exchange programme for the benefits of students, academic institutions and other organisations offering traineeships.
